Terms & Conditions

Placing an Order

  • Most orders are shipped within 24 hours, if there is no problem with the payment authorization or verification and the products ordered are in stock.  Most orders shipped within the United States will arrive at their destination within one to7 business days.  If you have not received your order within 15 business days, please contact us at (305)-474-8355.
  • CertifiedComp cannot be held responsible for product incompatibilities and manufacturers' typographical errors or defects.
  • CertifiedComp reserve the right to cancel or decline any order
  • Prices and quantities are subject to change without notice.
  • Images are for demonstration proposes only. actual product may vary.  Please check descriptions. If you still need more information please check with manufacturer or call our technical department.
  • Certified Comp is not responsible for performing the research required to uncover compatibility issues among products.  It is the customer's responsibility to check out manufacturer’s technical support area, visit relevant forums and newsgroups, read applicable FAQ's, etc.  Certified Comp encourages its customers to perform this research before they place their order.  We want to prevent any unnecessary and completely preventable customer’s aggravation and expense. 

 Modification

  • Order(s) may be modified only by telephone and only during our normal business hours, which are 10AM — 6PM EST, Monday through Friday.  No order modification sent by e-mail or postal mail will be guaranteed.  Depending on the status of the order, adjustments may or may not be possible. 

 Cancellation

  • Should you decide to cancel your order after it has been processed and shipped, the shipping cost is non-refundable and a restocking fee of 20% will be charged to your credit card.
  • You may cancel orders only by phone or using our online order cancellation link.
  • Certified Comp reserves the right to reject any cancellation request after order has been processed and or shipped.

Credit

  • Please allow (3-15) business day for all returned products to be processed.  If a credit is due, you will receive the credit within (1-2) business days.  All credits will be issued back to the original source of payment only.  Please do not ask us to issue a credit to a credit card or person which is different than the one named on the original transaction invoice.

Shipping

  • Certified Comp ships your product by UPS, Fedex, US Postal (for APO/FPO addresses only) and Freight.  We will ship your order as long as the carrier is open for business to transport the order.  By selecting a certain carrier, you have indicated that you agree to all the carrier's Terms and Conditions.

Return Policy & Procedure ( RMAs)

  • Certified Comp reserves the right to charge a restocking fee of 20% of the selling price for any non-defective product returned for credit. Shipping charges are non-refundable.
  • Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.
  • Customers may return products for refunds or exchanges within twenty (20) days from the date Certified Comp shipped the products if they have a valid Certified Comp   RMA number.  After (20) days, refunds and exchanges are no longer available for any product.
  • Before returning products to Certified Comp, all customers must obtain a valid Certified Comp RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.  Products received without a valid RMA number will be returned to the customer at the customer's expense.  Customers should call us at 305-474-8355 during the hours of 10AM — 6PM EST, Monday through Friday, to obtain a valid RMA number.
  • CPUs and memory items are not refundable under any circumstances .  If a CPU or memory module arrives at a customer’s site D.O.A., then the customer must call our Tech Support department and obtain an RMA number.  If such a processor or memory module is found to be defective by one of Certified Comp’s qualified technicians, it will be replaced.  If an exact replacement is no longer available, then the defective product will be sent to Certified Comp’s vendor or to the product’s manufacturer for repair or replacement. RMA turnaround times in such cases vary from a few days to several weeks.  An exchange to a different type of processor or memory module in such cases is not guaranteed and will only be made upon approval by a senior Certified Comp manager. Opened and/or used toner cartridges and printers are non-refundable. Software and licenses are non-refundable.
  • Certified Comp reserves the right to refuse any package(s) returned without proper documents and/or a valid RMA number. Such packages will be returned to the sender's address and the sender's account will be charged for the return shipping costs. If there is no customer account to which Certified Comp can charge return shipping costs, then the products in the package will be considered Certified Comp property and no refund or credit will be issued to the sender.  If the customer refuses to authorize return shipping charges, then the products in the package will be considered Certified Comp property and no refund or credit will be issued to the sender.
  • Certified Comp must receive  RMA products within (10)days of the date the  RMA was issued.  Certified Comp reserves the right to reject any  RMA package returned later than (10) days from the date the  RMA was issued.
  • Due to manufacturers' policies, customers must not mark on, write in or damage any product's documentation, packing box or product container.  Customers will be charged a penalty fee ranging from five dollars ($5) to fifty dollars ($50) for each item which has been damaged or defaced in any way.
  • Customers must ensure that all original parts and accessories are included with any product they wish to return.  Otherwise, CertifiedComp reserves the right to charge appropriately for the cost to replace each missing item.  Customers should allow 4-7 business days for all returned products to be processed.
  • If a credit is due, additional 1-2 business days should be allowed for time to process that credit.

 Warranty  

  • All new hardware products delivered, assembled, or installed by Certified Comp are warranted under the terms of a limited warranty provided by the manufacturer of each product, unless otherwise provided in those writer warranties.  All used refurbished, reconditioned, or “Pulled” hardware products delivered, assembled, or installed by Certified Comp are subject to a thirty day limited warranty from the date of shipping otherwise stated in writing.
  • New Retail Box products with product registration and/or warranty registration must claim warranty directly with manufacturer.
  • Warranty periods begin on the day the package is delivered to the Ship to address by our carrier.  CertifiedComp is not responsible for warranties beyond one (1 year new, 20 refurbished or pull) from the date the package is delivered to the Ship to address by our carrier.
  • Certified Comp’s warranty is voided for any product that is returned in a damaged condition, whether the damage was caused by the shipping carrier or by the customer.
  • Defective products will be replaced with the same product if the same product is still available.  Otherwise, Certified Comp reserves the right to decide whether to repair the defective product or to replace it with a similar product.  A Certified Comp technician would call the customer to discuss their options in such situations.
  • Cross-shipment for replacements or exchanges may be allowed solely at the discretion of Certified Comp’s  RMA Manager.  Absolutely no cross-shipments will be authorized after thirty (30) days from the original product ship date.
  • Defective products returned for replacement or repair within the warranty period will be shipped back to the customer via Ground Service.
  • The warranty period for a replacement item continues from the day the original package was delivered to the Ship to address by our carrier.
  • For any “returned for repair” product not found to be defective, Certified Comp reserves the right to charge the customer’s account/credit card for its costs to ship the non-defective product back to the customer, as well as a testing fee of not less than fifteen dollars ($15.00 US).
  • Under no circumstances will Certified Comp be responsible for any damages to customer’s equipment caused by products purchased from Certified Comp.
  • Certified Comp will not be responsible for shipping charges on any product or package which is returned to Certified Comp.
